In 2012 the The Guild 5 Forty Five was formed as a collective creative workspace in an industrial-style studio in the heart of Fort Lauderdale’s FAT Village of the Arts. The last Saturday of each month, the FAT Village Art Walk hosts open gallery night to the public. The Guild curated many local and international artists as well as creative directed and produced multi-media dance performances in their gallery "Box 5 at The Guild" gallery which helped to provide a platform for artists, creatives and local businesses to meet, mingle and share. As a bridge to city arts and education, The Guild created the Flywheel Initiative through a series of field trips and hands on workshops for public school students.
